About ORPC

The Club is based at Oundle which is a small market town in East Northamptonshire, located a few miles south west of Peterborough in the UK.

Oundle Rifle & Pistol Club enjoys the use of 5 different ranges located on two separate sites. It has a current membership of around 150 and is able to cater for a wide range of shooting disciplines - air weapons, small-bore, pistol calibre gallery firearms and full-bore centre-fire rifles together with Black Powder firearms.

See our Club History button to find out more about the rich history of ORPC over the previous 75 years.

The club usually holds a number of special events each year, including a barbecue and Christmas dinner. ORPC also holds open days during the year where non-FAC holders have the opportunity to try out full-bore rifles under close supervision as an introduction to the sport of target shooting. This is, of course, by special invitation only, with personal introduction by members only.

ORPC is affiliated to the NRA and periodic informal trips to Bisley are arranged throughout the year to enable our members to shoot at longer ranges
